Refund Policy

Animboards sells prepaid credits. Credits are spent on generating storyboard frames, reference sheets, style frames, voice-over and video shots. This policy explains when you can get your money back.

The short version

• Unused credits, within 14 days. Full refund of that purchase. No reason needed and nothing to justify.
• Partly used credits, within 14 days. We refund the unused portion, pro-rata. If you bought 200 credits for $29 and spent 50, you get back the value of the remaining 150.
• Free credits. The credits given on signup are a gift, not a purchase. They are never refundable in money, they last 30 days, and they are spent before any credits you have bought.
• Unused credits that have expired. Credits bought in a pack last 90 days, and we email you a week before they lapse. Once they have, there is nothing left to refund: the refund window is 14 days from purchase in any case, so this only ever affects credits kept far longer than that.
• After 14 days, or for credits already spent. No refund. Spent credits have already been paid to the AI providers that generated your work.

Your right to withdraw

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. Before checkout we ask you to confirm the following, and we record that you did:

“I ask for my credits to be made available immediately, before the 14-day withdrawal period ends. I understand that credits I have already spent cannot be refunded, and that my right to withdraw within 14 days applies only to credits I have not used.”

That confirmation is why spent credits are excluded: you asked for them to be usable immediately and used them. It does not remove your right for credits you have not touched, which is why those stay fully refundable for the full 14 days.

How to request one

Email piotr@motionfactor.pl with the address on your account and roughly when you bought. You can also contact Paddle, which processed the payment, directly through the receipt they emailed you.

Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

Failed generations

These are not a refund matter. If a generation fails for a technical reason the credits return to your balance automatically, within seconds, without anyone having to ask.

Who you paid

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record and issues your invoice. Paddle may also grant a refund at its own discretion under its own policy. Nothing here limits any statutory right you have that cannot be excluded by agreement.
